Atanas Atanasov, PhD
Prof. Atanasov is Department Head at Polish Academy of Sciences and Associated Scientist at University of Vienna, Austria, where he was actively involved in the execution of the Austrian national network “Drugs From Nature Targeting Inflammation” (DNTI), a collaborative research project which has been financed with >3 000 000 Euro from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) to support the identification and characterization of plant-derived natural products counteracting inflammatory responses.
Dave is highly experienced and MBA qualified Chief Executive Officer with extensive experience of dealing at senior level with international commercial organisations and government departments. Dave has led Lhasa Limited, a very successful nonprofit organization and educational charity. Dave contributes to GLOBE-PA as a successful business leader and strategic visionary during the development of the program.
Timea Polgar, PhD
Timea received her PhD in pharmaceutical sciences with emphasis in chemical engineering and computational approaches for early phase drug discovery at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, graduating summa cum laude. Her postdoctoral training was in biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology , she also received a MSc in chemistry with emphasis in computational approaches and a MSc in molecular biology.
Nora was graduated as a sales and communication specialist in Hungary at Budapest Business School. She has over 14 years experience in building up and managing life science software partner networks. Enjoying mentoring start-ups from the early stage of seeking ways she is passionately devoted to creating innovative solutions.
Sanin is an experienced investment and management professional with a breadth of finance and operations experience. He serves as Director at Nano Stone Inc., Co-Founder of Ojas Capital, LP, and has worked with Virtus Real Estate Capital, Barclays Global Real Estate IBD, OMERS Private Equity, SJF Ventures, Morgan Stanley and several startup platforms. Sanin received his MBA in Finance, Real Estate, and Operations from Columbia Business School and an Industrial Engineering Degree from Cornell University.
Peter is a senior sales and business development executive. Peter was graduated in Hungary at University of Debrecen as an agricultural engineer (BSc), and soon after graduation started his career as a sales and area manager at Ricoh and Novartis-Syngenta, where he became a regional sales leader. Peter also participated in the development of several smaller businesses in the Central European area in addition to managing the central European sales at Porsche Hungary.
